[국내자료/학술지] 김보현. 2024. 유학생 학술 발표 담화에 대한 한국어 학습 요인 분석 - 텍스트성과 장르성에 미치는 영향을 중심으로

[초록]

통계적 검증을 통해 완성도 높은 발표 담화 생산에 영향을 미치는 요인을 밝히고, 한국어 학술 발표 교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 연구에 참여한 유학생들의 성별, 한국어 숙달도, 언어적성, 학습 환경, 한국 체류 기간, 대학 재학 기간 등 다양한 언어 학습 변인을조사하였다. 그 후 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 활용하여 이들이 학술 발표 담화에 나타난 텍스트성과 장르성 관련이 있는지 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 한국 체류 기간과 언어 적성이 유학생 학술 발표 담화의 텍스트성과 장르성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었고 특히 언어 적성이 가장 유의미한 요인으로드러났다. 그리고 발표 담화의 텍스트성과 장르성 점수는 서로 상관관계가 있었으며 이들은 또한 학업 성취도와 유의한 상관이 있었다. 이를 통해 학술 발표의텍스트성과 장르성에 대한 교육 및 학습은 학문 목적 한국어 학습자의 전반적인학업 성취를 향상하는 데에 기여할 수 있다고 추론된다. 더불어 학문 목적 한국어 교육에서는 언어 적성이 낮고 한국 체류 기간이 짧은 학습자에게 효과적으로학술 발표 담화의 텍스트성과 장르성을 교수할 방안을 고민해야 할 것으로 보인다.

It serves as foundation research foracademic Korean education. Through statistical analysis, the study seeksto identify learning factors affecting the production of high-qualitypresentations and derive implications for Korean academic presentationeducation. To achieve this, various language learning variables such asgender, proficiency in Korean, language aptitude, learning environment,duration of stay in Korea, and duration of university enrollment weresurveyed among participating international students. Correlation andmultiple regression analyses were conducted to examine whether thesevariables were related to the textual and genre features observed inacademic presentations. The analysis revealed that the duration of stayin Korea and language aptitude directly influenced the textual andgenre features of academic presentation of international students, withlanguage aptitude emerging as the most significant factor. Furthermore,a correlation was observed between the textuality and genre factors ofpresentations, along with a significant correlation with academicachievement. This suggests that education and learning focusing on the textuality and genre factors of academic presentations can contribute tooverall academic achievement among learners pursuing Korean foracademic purposes. Additionally, in academic Korean language education,effective teaching strategies for enhancing the textual and genre featuresof academic presentations should be considered, particularly forlearners with low language aptitude and shorter stays in Korea.
