본 연구는 C 대학에서 개발한 유학생을 위한 글쓰기 교재의 개발 과정과 성과를 두루 소개하고 있다.

C 대학은 공통 교양 글쓰기 교과에서 사용될 유학생을 위한 글쓰기 교재 개발을 2021년부터 시작하였다. 유학생이라는 특수성을 고려한 동시에 공통 교양으로써의 글쓰기가 갖는 정체성까지 포함할 것을 목표로 한 것이었다. 교재는 내국인 학생들의 글쓰기 교과가 가진 수업목표 및 내용과 큰 격차가 없도록 만들어야 한다는 점, 그리고 기존 교재의 구성을 받아들이면서도 유학생들에게 맞는 예문과 실습 문제들을 보완할 것에 중점을 두었다. 이렇게 완성된『 외국인을 위한 대학 글쓰기』 교재는 2021년부터 2022년까지 총 4학기에 걸쳐 비대면 수업과 대면 수업 모두에서 사용되었다.

교재를 사용한 유학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 결과, 교재에 대한 만족감에서 유의미한 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.

This study introduces the development process and achievements of writing textbooks for international students developed at C University.

 C University began developing writing textbooks for international students to be used in the common liberal arts ‘Writing’ from 2021. It was aimed at including the identity of ‘Writing’ as a common culture while making use of the uniqueness of being an international student. The textbook should be made so that there is no big gap with the course objectives and contents of the ‘Writing’ subject of domestic students, and the emphasis was placed on supplementing examples and practice problems suitable for international students while accepting the structure of the existing『 Writing Book』. The completed『 University Writing for Foreigners』textbook was used in both non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes over a total of 4 semesters from 2021 to 2022.

 As a result of a survey of international students using textbooks, meaningful results were derived from satisfaction with the textbooks.
