[초록]

 본 연구는 외국인 유학생을 위한 학문 목적 한국어 글쓰기 능력 향상을 위한 방안의 하나로 장르 지식을 중심으로 논의하였다. 장르 지식은 특정 상황에서 독자와 의사소통 목적에 따른 장르의 특성을 알고 이에 맞게 글을 쓰는 능력이다(Hyland, 2004:4). 본 연구는 장르 지식을 중심으로 학문 목적 글쓰기 교재를 분석하여 유학생들의 글쓰기 능력 향상을 위한 제안을 하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 선행 연구 검토를 토대로 분석 기준을 정한 후 최근 출간된 외국인 유학생을 위한 학문 목적 한국어 글쓰기 교재를 장르 지식을 분석하였다. 교재분석 기준은 권태현(2021)의 한국어 쓰기 교재 분석 기준을 참고하여 보완하였다. 교재 분석 기준별 제시 정도를 확인하고 교재의 장르 지식을 반영하였다. 명제의 지식과 절차의 지식이 어떻게 구성되어 있는지를 파악하고 분석하였다. 이러한 분석 결과를 바탕으로 유학생 글쓰기 교재에서의 장르 지식 분석의 의의 및 시사점을 제시하였다. 분석한 결과를 실제 교육 현장에 적용하여 장르 지식 분석의 실제성을 검증하지 못했지만, 유학생 글쓰기 능력 향상을 위한 방안의 하나로 장르 지식을 활용했다는 것과 분석 기준 및 결과가 교재 연구나 활용의 기초자료가 될 수 있다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

 This study focused on genre knowledge as one of the measures to improve the academics Korean writing for academic purpose for foreign students. Genre knowledge is the ability to know the characteristics of a genre according to the purpose of communication with readers in a specific situation and write accordingly (Hyland, 2004:4). This study analyzes writing academic textbooks, focusing on genre knowledge, and suggestions for improving the writing ability of international students.This study analyzed the recently published academic Korean writing textbooks for academic purposes for foreign students, focusing on genre knowledge, after setting the analysis criteria, based on the review of previous studies. The textbook analysis criteria were supplemented by referring to Kwon Tae-hyeon’s (2021) Korean writing textbook analysis criteria. The degree of presentation for each textbook analysis criterion was confirmed, and the genre knowledge of the textbook was reflected. How identified and analyzed propositional knowledge and procedural knowledge was are structured.Based on analysis results, the significance and implications of genre knowledge analysis were presented. There is a limitation in that the practicality of genre knowledge analysis could not be verified by applying the results to the actual education field. However, the significance of this study can be found in that genre knowledge was as one of the measures improve the writing ability of international students, and that the analysis criteria and results can be used as reference materials for research or the utilization of textbooks.
