영어트랙으로입학한 외국인유학생은 대학 생활을 하는데 한국어 능력의 부족으로 인하여 여러 어려움을겪는다. 따라서 영어트랙 유학생을 위한 교양한국어 과목이 반드시 필요하며, 영어트랙 학습자를 위한 맞춤형 교재 또한 개발되어야 한다.
2장에서는 이론적 배경과 영어트랙 외국인유학생의 환경을 살펴보고, 교양한국어 교재개발 관련 선행연구를 짚어 보았다. 3장에서는 교재 개발 절차와 구성을 제시하였다. 영어트랙 학습자를 위한 단원 구성과 각 단원의 주제를 효과적으로 선별하여 대학 생활 및 수업에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 또한 한 학기 15주로 하여 각 단원의 진행이 적절하게 진행될수 있도록 하였다. 단원의 구성은 단원의 제목, 학습목표, 단원 도입 자료와 활동, 어휘, 문법, 과제활동 순으로 하였으며, 본 연구에서 개발한 교재에 제시된 어휘와 문법은 기존 숙달도별 제시가 아닌 단원의 주제를 가장 효과적으로 드러내는 것으로 하였다. 기존에 영어트랙 외국인유학생에 맞는 효과적인 교재가 없었다는 점에서 본 연구가 향후 교재 개발에많은 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Foreign students who entered the English track face many difficulties in college life due to lack of Korean language skills. Therefore, liberal arts Korean subjects for English track students are absolutely necessary, and customized textbooks for English track learners must also be developed.
In Chapter 2, the theoretical background and the environment of foreign students studying in the English track were reviewed, and previous studies related to the development of liberal arts Korean textbooks were reviewed. In Chapter 3, the textbook development process and composition were presented. Unit composition for English track learners and effective selection of topics for each unit were intended to be helpful for college life and classes. In addition, each semester was set to 15 weeks so that the progress of each unit could be properly progressed.
The composition of the unit was in the order of unit title, learning objective, unit introduction materials and activities, vocabulary, grammar, and task activities. It was effectively revealed. It is expected that this study will be able to give many implications for the development of future textbooks in that there has been no effective textbook suitable for English track foreign students in the past.
