본 연구는 억양 시각화 훈련이 외국인(베트남인) 유학생들의 한국어 말하기 효능감에 미치는 효과를 검증하였다. 베트남인 유학생 중 한국어 학습능력이 중급인 학생들을 대상으로 실험을 진행하다. 사전검사를 통해 동질집단 임을 확인한 다음 억양 시각화 훈련을 적용하고 이후 사후 검사를 실시하여 결과를 분석하였다. 사전 검사 결과 통제집단과 실험집단의 억양 실현 양상과 말하기 효능감은 차이가 없었다. 사전 검사 후 실험집단은 억양 시각화 훈련을 통해 억양 교육을 실시하였고, 통제집단은 반복 청취를 통한 방법으로만 수업이 이루어졌다. 실험 결과 억양 시각화 훈련을 실시한 실험집단의 억양 그래프가 검증된 한국어 화자와 유사하게 나타났으며 말하기 효능감 또한 상승하였다. 한국어 말하기 효능감의 상승은 억양 표현능력의 상승을 가져올 것이며 한국어 말하기 능력의 향상을 이끌어 줄 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구의 실험을 통해서 억양 시각화 훈련을 통한 억양 수업이 억양에 민감한 베트남인 학습자의 효과적인 한국어 말하기 교육에 효과적임을 확인하였다. 향후 한국어 말하기 교육에서 억양 시각화 훈련이 전반적으로 활용되기를 기대한다.

This study verified the effect of accent visualization training on the Korean speaking efficacy of foreign (Vietnamese) international students. An experiment was conducted for Vietnamese international students whose Korean language learning ability is at an intermediate level. After confirming that the group was homogeneous through a pre-test, intonation visualization training was applied, followed by a post-test to analyze the results. As a result of the pre-test, there was no difference in the intonation realization pattern and speaking efficacy of the control group and the experimental group. After the pre-test, the experimental group received intonation education through intonation visualization training, and the control group received instruction only through repeated listening.As a result of the experiment, the intonation graph of the experimental group subjected to the intonation visualization training appeared similar to that of the verified Korean speakers, and the speaking efficacy also increased. An increase in the efficacy of speaking Korean will lead to an increase in intonation expression ability and is expected to lead to improvement in Korean speaking ability. Through the experiment of this study, it was confirmed that the intonation class through the intonation visualization training was effective for effective Korean speaking education for Vietnamese learners who are sensitive to intonation. It is expected that intonation visualization training will be used overall in Korean speaking education in the future.
