[초록]
본 연구에서는 매체의 발달과 코로나19라는 사상초유의 사태를 맞이한 현재 교육 현장에 필요한 온라인 학습 도구로서 구글 클래스룸을 선정하여 학습자의 만족도를 조사하였다.
구글 클래스룸은 현재 전세계 어디에서나 가장 편리하게 접근할 수 있는 온라인 학습 도구로서 교사와 학생의 상호작용을 용이하게 하며 다양한 매체를 접목시켜 수업에 활용할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 서울 소재 A대학에 재학 중인 외국인 한국어 학습자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 구글 클래스룸을 활용한 한국어 수업의 만족도를 알아보았다.
설문은 구글 클래스룸의 편리성과 만족도, 장점과 단점에 대한 질문으로 이루어져 있으며, 만족도는 다시 상호작용과 매체 활용, 통제성으로 그 요인을 나누어 분석하였다. 장점과 단점에 대한 응답은 단답형으로 진행되었으며 이를 비슷한 내용으로 그룹화하여 그 결과를 도출해 내었다. 그 결과, 응답자의 대다수가 수업 시간에 사용한 학습 도구 중 구글 클래스룸이 가장 편리하다고 응답하였으며, 만족도 역시 상당히 높은 것으로 나타났다. 만족도에 대한 세부 요인 중 상호작용에 대한 긍정적인 대답이 가장 높았으며, 구글 프로그램을 연동해서 활용하는 부분에 대해서는 다소 아쉬운 응답을 나타냈다. 구글 클래스룸 활용에 대한 단점으로는 연동된 매체 활용이 불편하다는 응답이 나왔으나, 장점에 있어서는 과제 제출이 용이하다는 응답이 가장 높게 나타났다.
본 연구의 만족도 조사에서 나아가 구글 클래스룸을 활용한 한국어 교육의 학습 효과에 대한 구체적인 연구가 이루어진다면 지금과 같은 시대에 한국어 교육을 하는데 있어 보다 효율적인 방안을 모색하는데 도움이 될 것이다.
In this study, the satisfaction of learners was investigated by selecting Google Classroom as an online learning tool necessary for educational sites that need to promote change in line with the current era of machine civilization and COVID-19.
Google Classroom is currently the most convenient online learning tool to access anywhere in the world, facilitating teacher-student interaction and incorporating various media into classes. Therefore, in this paper, a survey was conducted on foreign Korean learners attending A University in Seoul to find out the satisfaction of Korean language classes using the Google Classroom. The survey consisted of questions about the convenience, satisfaction, advantages and disadvantages of the Google Classroom, and satisfaction was analyzed by dividing the factors into interaction, media utilization, and controllability. Responses to advantages and disadvantages were conducted in a short answer format, and the results were derived by grouping them into similar contents. As a result, the majority of respondents said that Google Classroom was the most convenient learning tool used in class, and satisfaction was also quite high. Among the detailed factors for satisfaction, positive answers to interaction were the highest, and somewhat disappointing responses were given to the use of Google programs in conjunction. Some responded that it was inconvenient to use linked media as a drawback to the use of Google Classroom, but the highest response was that it was easy to submit assignments in terms of advantages.
Further to the satisfaction survey of this study, if a specific study is conducted on the learning effect of Korean language education using the Google Classroom, it will help to find a more efficient way to educate Korean in the current era.
