[국내자료/학술지] 김민선 외. 2022. 다문화 청년들이 경험하는 성인기 진로 선택에 대한 합의적 질적 연구

[초록]

본 연구는 다문화 청년들의 진로선택 경험을 탐색하여 성인기 이전 학습과 진로경험을 살펴보고, 성인기 진입과정에서 어떠한 진로와 일 경험을 하고 있으며 이러한 경험이 현재 삶에 대한 만족과 미래에 대한 기대에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 부모 중 한명이 외국인인 이주배경 청년(국내출생 6명·중도입국 6명) 12명을 연구 참가자로 모집하여 합의적 질적 연구방법(CQR)으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 최종적으로 6개 도메인 ‘청소년기 진로희망과 교육경험’, ‘사회초년생으로 경험한 장벽과 어려움’, ‘청년기 지속적인 성장을 위한 노력과 도전’, ‘진로결정에 있어서의 중요한 타인의 영향’, ‘미래에 대한 희망과 불안의 공존’, ‘다문화 가정 자녀로서의 경험’과 33개 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화 청년들의 진로선택과 적응 관련 시사점 및 제한점을 논하였다.

This study explores the career choice experiences of young people with a migration background, examines their learning and career experiences before adulthood, what careers and work experiences they have in the process of entering adulthood, and how these experiences influence their current life satisfaction and expectations for the future. The purpose is to explore the impact. For this purpose, 12 young people with immigrant background (6 born in Korea, 6 immigrants) whose parents are foreigners were recruited as research participants and the study was conducted using the Consensus Qualitative Research Method (CQR). As a result, 6 domains and 33 categories were finally derived. 'Career hopes and educational experiences in adolescence', 'Barriers and difficulties experienced as a beginner in society', 'Efforts and challenges for continuous growth in adolescence', 'The influence of important others in career decision', 'Hope and anxiety about the future of 'coexistence' and 'experience as a child of a multicultural family' appeared as domains. Based on the results of this study, methods and implications for helping young people with migration backgrounds choose and adapt to their careers are described, and limitations of this study and follow-up studies are suggested.
