[논문 초록]

한국에서 공부하는 아랍학생들은 이슬람 문화가 거의 없는 한국 문화 때문에 많은 어려움을 겪는다. 이 연구는 아랍 학생이 겪거나, 겪을 문화적 차이에 대하여 조사하여 정리했다. 이 연구는 한국인의 사고방식과 생활관습으로 나누어 연구를 진행했다. 사고방식에는 한국인의 성격 형성의 기반으로 농경민의 전통, 유교적 전통, 언어 구조, 한국인의 성격과 기질을 조사했다. 생활관습에서 인사와 예의, 식생활, 주거, 의복 등의 의식주, 결혼, 출생, 장례 등의 관혼상제, 이름, 명절, 취미, 금기 등을 조사 연구했다. 이런 한국문화 연구는 한국의 표준문화 연구가 아니라, 아랍 문화와 비교를 통하여 한국문화의 차이를 조사연구하여 아랍 유학생이 어려움을 겪을 수 있는 한국 문화를 연구하는 것을 목표로 한다.

Arab students studying in Korea have a lot of difficulties due to the lack of Islamic culture. This research investigates and summarizes the cultural differences that Arab students are going through or experiencing. This study was divided into the way of thinking and living customs of Koreans. In the way of thinking, we examined the traditions of Confucianism, Confucian tradition, language structure, and character and temperament of Koreans as the basis of Korean personality formation. In the customs of life, I surveyed the ceremonial occasions such as greeting, courtesy, food, housing, clothes, clothing, weddings, births, funerals, names, holidays, hobbies and taboos. This kind of Korean culture research aims not only to study Korean standard culture but also to study Korean culture where Arab students can experience difficulties by investigating the difference of Korean culture through comparison with Arab culture.
