[초록]

본 연구는 외국인 유학생의 한국생활 경험에 대한 질적연구의 동향을 분석하여 향후 이들에 대한 추가적 연구를 위한 제언과 함께 정책 개발을 위한 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 한다. 이에 KCI에 등록된 외국인 유학생의 한국생활 경험에 대한 질적연구 72편을 추출해 연구 동향을 분석했다. 그 결과 2018년 이후 논문 수가 크게 증가했고 연구대상은 아시아권, 학위과정, 서울 및 수도권 대학, 인문·사회계열 전공자가 주요 대상으로 나타났다. 연구 기간은 3개월 미만, 면담시간은 60분 미만, 연구 참여자 수 6-10명 범위 논문이 많았으며 질적 연구 방법은 사례연구가 많았다. 연구주제로는 경험, 적응, 문화와 함께 진로, 불법 노동, 학문 공동체와의 관계가 있었다. 본 연구는 외국인 유학생의 한국생활 경험에 관한 질적연구 동향 분석을 처음 시도하고, 외국인 유학생들에 대한 질적연구의 필요성과 연구 방향성을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for policy development along with suggestions for further research on international students experience in Korea. In response, 72 qualitative research papers registered with KCI were extracted to analyze research trends. As a result, the number of papers has increased since 2018, and major research subjects include Asian, academic, Seoul and metropolitan universities, and humanities and social studies majors. The research period was less than three months, interview time was less than 60 minutes, and the range of 6-10 research participants was the average value, and the qualitative research method was a lot of case studies. Research topics include experience, adaptation, culture, career, illegal labor. This study is meaningful in that it first attempted to analyze the trend of qualitative research on the experience of international students living in Korea, and provided the necessity and direction of qualitative research on them.
